Season 2 finale was trash compared to the 1st one. It's like they were trying to yell at the viewers "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME, I'M WAY EDGIER THAN THE FIRST" and this was known in the 1st episode aswell.season 3

nikkas went overboard with season 2 hate, shyt was decent. had a way better finale than season 1.
season 3 will let us know which season was the accident though.
The scene where Ray and Frank were facing each other at the bar with "My Least Favorite Life" playing in the background.....so forced.

Hopefully they can get the pacing right. People complained that season 1, although great, was too slow then turned around and said season 2 was too fast and convoluted.Also, nothing will top the fukkery of the season 2 thread. shyt was on par with the SoA Suttery and the latter seasons of TWD threads
Eh...clearly the actors aren't the problem with this show. Its the writing.

I don't think season 2 is as bad as people claim, but it pales in comparison to season 1. Like others have said I think the issue was that they were trying to do too much. Having four leads instead of two, trying too hard to have a complex storyline and the plot holes as a result, etc.

I got the season 1 Blu Ray set just watched it again a couple weeks back. Season 1 is still the GOAT. 
hopefully he takes some "influence" from David Simon. I could see them doing a more inner city theme or something. maybe get in to that DC pdeo ring going on.
