Netflix already has a show about the Ozarks. i hope they can tap into season one fukkery with this season.

I haven't seen the Ozarks on Netflix, but I'm not too worried about it. Pizzolatto is clearly comfortable writing stories which take place in the midwest (True Detective Season 1 and Galveston) since that's where he grew up/lives. I think it'll be dope either way

On another subject, they're turning Galveston into a movie coming out next year. It's a pretty dope story, but I'm not sure how well it'll transition to the big screen.

Oh, I think it's gonna be dope as well. This season already has more patience than S2.

Glad Pizzolatto is going back to the mid-south area, since he knows the region so well. I hope this is back to the level of season 1 & not rushed

These tyoes of shows should only be set in the deep south or the pacific northwest, they have a type of energy about them that i cant describe and setting is a very important part of storytelling.

I have much more faith in Ejogo than McAdams. The most interesting thing to me though is that she's not even part of the law enforcement in the show. The fact that this will play out in three separate time periods has me very excited.
