:snoop:Netflix already has a show about the Ozarks. i hope they can tap into season one fukkery with this season.

I haven't seen the Ozarks on Netflix, but I'm not too worried about it. Pizzolatto is clearly comfortable writing stories which take place in the midwest (True Detective Season 1 and Galveston) since that's where he grew up/lives. I think it'll be dope either way :yeshrug:

On another subject, they're turning Galveston into a movie coming out next year. It's a pretty dope story, but I'm not sure how well it'll transition to the big screen.

Oh, I think it's gonna be dope as well. This season already has more patience than S2.

These tyoes of shows should only be set in the deep south or the pacific northwest, they have a type of energy about them that i cant describe and setting is a very important part of storytelling.

The Ozarks area is rural as fukk....there's really no difference between it and the deep south.
