I just rewatched S1 again yesterday. I gotta agree with you on that one. S2 was dark as hell, but it had better closure IMO. All that Lovecraftian build-up just so we could see what Errol was up to in the finale. Not even Cary's directing could overshadow that bullshyt....that was all on the writing.Season 2 finale > Season 1 finale

I remember going in every Sunday night thinking this was the episode that would turn it around.
That shyt was an abortion.
That was one of the few great scenes thoughRemember Vaugh's death scene in the desert, with all the "ghosts" of the past calling out to him?
Terrible series of television, beyond any redemption.
Season 1 finale did not live up to the hype. Errol out there eating bullets like he Thanos and shyt.

Then they tried that shyt in season 2....with the mask & the dude on the movie set...but nikkas figured that shyt out quickly
