There were zero moments that took me out of the show. Remember how many times in season 2 you were aware you were watching a TV show with shyt writing and shyt acting from kitsch and Vaughn. This season is legit and a return to form. Mahershala and dorff kill it. Very surprised at how good dorff is

One and only flaw I didn't like about this so far was Spoilers...
The fact that the woman doing the interview mentioned that the dolls are possibly connected to pedo rings associated with rich and powerful people. I think that ruins the mystery
So true. I remember just sitting there waiting for a a glimmer of hope in the writing. Only sat through it all because of the name attached to the project.
I appreciate what S2 was trying to do and all with the film noir, but the shyt felt like a late night USA show on HBO.I guess that's what happens though when HBO rushes you and you can't get any help from writers.

i've only seen the premiere so far and it's definitely off to a good start. it's got that tone and vibe we've all been looking for. the writing seems a lot better already. shyt, even stephen dorff (who i had serious doubts about) played really well. i'm digging his character.
we all know how good of an actor ali is and damn...this role looks like it's gonna be a showcase for him. he's already killing it in 3 different decades and i'm one episode deep.
btw, am i crazy or was the mother of the missing kids dom from mr. robot?

other than Ali the first two episodes were meh.
The twist of the girl being alive is interesting, and I have a feeling his wife will end up being connected to this shyt

This shyt is so much better than season 2, and is definitely giving season 1 a run for its money
