If it’s for a playoff series or game I’m going Wade easy.. if it’s to build my franchise around I’m going KD

If you wanna minimize the game just to look through the window of the box score on some "any given night" scenario, let's compare that theoretical to what Durant was actually doing during his MVP season (without Westbrook) with a starting lineup of Jackson, Thabo, Ibaka and Perkins:On any given night in his prime Wade could give you 30,5,10 with like 3 steals and 4 blocks shooting 50% with the defense focused solely on him. And that’s without tryna pad stats. Kd ain’t doing no shyt like that. And to keep it a buck Wade has had worse teams than Bron and KD in his prime doing shyt like that but nobody will acknowledge. Like I said history won’t be kind to Wade

Except it is substantial, especially if you take into account that Durant was having 36, 34, and 33 ppg months on high-efficiency when Westbrook was out injured - Wade has NOT approached that level of scoring at any point during his prime. In the grand scheme of things the margin between their respective scoring skillsets does matter (scoring-mentality and exigency is part of another debate) since it's the main reason why he's the better player.Of course I never said wade was better offensively. Just in the grand scheme of things when accounting for their overall game a 5% difference in efg/ts and 2 points ain’t substantial.
And the point of you posting this is what exactly?just as noticeable a difference between a guy 7ft and a guy 6'3

Durant led OKC in running a train on a 67-win Spurs team, and then was only one win away from beating a team with the highest-win season in NBA history (where he was the best performer of the entirety of the series); deprecating the move he made to the Warriors doesn't take away from the fact he was on the verge of leading a team through arguably the toughest playoff-gauntlet in history.imagine wade going to play for the spurs in 09 after they lost to the lakers in the WCF pairing him with 3 HOFs and pop, how many more rings would he win?

If you wanna minimize the game just to look through the window of the box score on some "any given night" scenario, let's compare that theoretical to what Durant was actually doing during his MVP season (without Westbrook) with a starting lineup of Jackson, Thabo, Ibaka and Perkins:
January - 36 ppg on 55% FG, six rebounds, six assists
March - 34.5 ppg on 51.7% FG, six rebounds, six assists
February - 33 ppg on 49% FG, seven rebounds, seven assists
December - 29 ppg on 52% FG, nine rebounds, four assists
Show me where Wade was doing some shyt like that.

Point being, if Durant didn't have to overcome a bigger hurdle than any NBA superstar has ever had to face, this thread wouldn't even exist, because he would've already won a ring in OKC, and all these empty, basketball-machismo, without-context-of-circumstance talking points wouldn't be in rotation.

fukk outta hereI can't believe this thread even went on this long. No NBA GM is taking Wade over KD. At any point in their career.
And there's nothing wrong with believing that (especially since "limitations" are relative), except that doesn't make him the better player. Basketball ain't a game of moral victories. Not to mention Wade being almost 7 inches shorter on borrowed time knees and killing him in the blocks department is something to note. I just think what Wade has done in his career given his limitations compared to KD is more impressive
Offensive load? When locked in KD is the better defender but on a game to game basis I still have Klay above him. Either way I agree it's dumb ass hell to knock KD for playing with other great defenders and also ignores the offensive load he has to carry.

Gabrielle Union probably don’t even believe that shyt. You bugging.fukk outta here
At least 2 of Wade's 3 rings are legit. KD knows nothing about that.Gabrielle Union probably don’t even believe that shyt. You bugging.
Man I’m not even getting into this ring shyt. It’s played out. 2 of his 3 rings were with a super team just like KDs. KD is the superior player. It is what it is.At least 2 of Wade's 3 rings are legit. KD knows nothing about that.
wade at one point in the league was considered 1A or 1B
Depending on who you talked to during was considered the same.
Wade played with an arguable goat,
an underrated bosh who in his time in Miami redefined the small ball PF position.
A aging but still impactful Shaq. And jimmy butler as his greatest teammates.
Durant aruguably being top 3 scorer to ever play In the league is playing with two of top 5 greatest shooters in league history.
He’s also playing with someone who is already consdered the most versatile and greatest defender in league history.
Also played with 3 of the four last mvps in the league.

Yall need to stop making up this shyt.
It was always LeBron and Kobe at 1a and 1b and I despise kobe with a passion.
And then once kobe got old, it was Lebron the clear cut best player
