Kobe snitched on Shaq
Against the 06 Mavs with Dirk choking the way he did? Why not
:mjlol: go from getting gentlemanly swept by the Grizzlies to failing with 2 future MVPs to winning an NBA title with an old Shaq, Antoine Walker, white chocolate and Gary Payton

Stop it.

I won’t deny kd was balling but don’t leave out kawhi chasing around Russ if he wasn’t guarding KD. Don’t be disingenuous lol

Nah breh. Kawhi was getting lit up, he couldn't stop the bleeding so Pop started trying to see if he could disrupt Russ instead because KD was getting his regardless.

The only defender who has given KD trouble is Tony Allen and the only time his team has ever beaten OKC was the year when Westbrook was hurt.

And KD was doubled and triple teamed from Games 2 to 5

He said himself he should have let his meniscus heal( I forget what which knee) before he came into the league he just operated on it which would cut his career short.
We didn't know it like that at the time though. I had the same injury as Wade at the same age, same surgery, just a few years before him, and ended up with the same long-term negative effects. Doctors and trainers never even told me that no surgery was an option, everyone always assumed the right thing to do was operate and cut out the tear even though they knew there'd be some long-term consequences (they told me even back then that I'd have arthritis in the knee by the time I was 30 and need a replacement eventually). Now they know that not getting the operation at all is better in the long run.

Man I’m not even getting into this ring shyt. It’s played out. 2 of his 3 rings were with a super team just like KDs. KD is the superior player. It is what it is.
That’s like saying one guy has a semi automatic rifle vs a guy with a fully automatic and questioning who could kill the most the fastest because they both have guns.

Myself
Prime Wade was just as good as Bron that first year together.
The year before, he was arguably better (Bron went to Wade's team and struggled when the team consistently went through Wade)
Wade 2006 was better than 2006 Bron

Prime Durant was never better than Bron. He simply had a better system around him.
Bron isn't even in his prime anymore, and Durant is just as good, arguably better - and that's due to the system, but not outright better.

I think Durant changes my mind when I see what he does without another MVP and GOAT shooters.

Say what you want about Wade, but he put up numbers, defended, and won without an MVP-level player (Shaq was not mvp caliber at the time)
