They absolutely overachieved. Ppl just like to look at things with revisionist history. No one who looked at that roster would say oh thats definitely a team that wins 73 games. Let alone a championship team and dynasty. Its bullshyt. And its also added hype from Bron fans and the media to make a great team look even greater to help solidify his legacy. It also makes their crying about KD come off hollow if they admit KD going to the warriors actually evened the score, 3 all stars vs. 3 all stars.

Truth is, GSW was not a super team. They were just a great team that actually played amazing together. We hadn't seen that in awhile in the league, true all around team ball and ball movement. They took the 2014 Spurs team blueprint and ran with that shyt. Its always been Bron on super teams. Him with a top 3 player in the world at the time ( the best or 2nd best player till 2013 imo) + an all star in Miami. Him with two all stars in Cleveland.

They overachieved but because they beat LeBron's team the narrative shifted.

I don’t know why the narrative shifted, but on paper, they weren’t no outrageously talented team

Steph Curry is an all time great pg

Klay is a legit all star, but clearly not a superstar

Draymond is the 3rd/4th best player on most contending teams. Zion Williamson already better than him

They were not some all-time great talented team without Durant. Don’t even know how dudes lie with a straight face and act like they were
