Your life doesn't change much at all from a jump from $60k to $100k, especially if you're be financially responsible. $100k doesn't go far like it used in 2004.

$200k is now the official baller threshold. At that point you can see a difference if the man really shows it.

This right here. 100k is more than most people make, but there’s no lifestyle change from 60k to 100k if you do it you’re responsible. Now 150k is when you can splurge and not lose sleep. 200k is dangerous because you have enough to splurge whenever you feel like it. By splurge I mean blowing 2k + in clothes and other luxuries. At 200k, you’re not going to realize how much you spend.

Like some said, there’s boot 100k folks and financially stable 60k folks. A lot of our grandparents didn’t have high paying jobs but had dough in the bank with stupid amounts of cash in the crib. They were truly poor growing up and treated money like it was scarce.

For example, I got a brother out here in the burbs doing trades, clearing 100k but when you see him, it doesn't look like it and he moves very low-key. I can definitely see women overlooking him, easily. You gotta know the guy and what he does, to know he's making bank out here.

Drip isn’t an indicator of making a lot of money. There are plenty of people make 40k-50k who spend half of their paycheck for drip but can’t go out until their next paycheck comes.

A little word of advice, if you use the term ‘6 figures’ you’re telling on yourself that you’re *just* making 6 figures , and/or that you aren’t around people that make significantly more than that.

A government worker can make just at 100k….a doctor can make 500k. Imagine telling someone who’s a doctor (or a woman who is a PhD, or who’s dated a doctor, etc) that you make ‘6 figures’ you’d sound like a clown.

Its a definite indicator that you are making $100k and thats it. Dude in the other thread said he makes "well over 6 figures" and I said you mean well into 6 figures? Because well over 6 figures implies atleast 8 figures and thats 10s of millions annually. nikka said "sure"
