That is actually arguable:

Kanye has College Dropout, Graduation, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. For a long time, I felt Late Registration was Kanye's best album, but is it really a classic album?

I think 808's is a classic, but Kanye doesn't rap on it.

Jay Z has Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint. The Black Album is arguable. American Gangster is a great album. Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are good as is 4:44. BP2, BP3, MCHG are mid. Kingdom Come is bad. I've never heard all of Vol. 3 and Dynasty.
