Yeah I understand where your coming from. I think a lot of Republicans used it as a big government rally cry but the fact is a lot of the plan was the GOP answer to hillarycare in the 90s. It's not an awful plan but you have to admit it screwed a large amount of middle class people.

no the ACA didn't screw anyone but the insurance companies to some degree. this is what no one understands. You/WE were already being screwed with the old system we had. and screwed even worse because our premiums were going up like crazy anyway. did yall forget all those walk outs from the people who worked at the big chain grocery stores. all because the stores didn't want to pay 100% or even 70% of their employees health coverage anymore because coverage was getting too expensive. That was PRE ACA. and that was people who were already insured watching premiums sky rocket. but guess what. pre ACA a lot of people were not even covered to complain about premiums rising. they had no coverage. and those that had cheap coverage had fake coverage that wouldn't have done them any good if they actually needed it. that's how bad that kind of coverage really is. even the semi so so coverage you can get pre ACA was so bad it would kick you off if you started costing them too much. they can't do that now under the ACA.

And I'm a NP. I have worked at a hospital for 7 years. Actually 8 years. My premium jumped by over 100% while Obama was talking about cutting cost. I'm also an insurance agent and a insurance adjuster. What else you wanna tell me to make you sound smarter ?

I agree. we shouldn't repeal it completely. I believe Congress should go through the ACA page by page line by line for 6 mo to a year to keep up the progress we made on health care. Get rid of the bad and keep the good.
