Repubs already think Obama was a fascist Kenyan who made race relations a million times worse. This is just Trump essentially entrenching that belief further into their mind, but now he has the "evidence" just like he had the "evidence" that Obama had a fake birth certificate.
How any coli brethren can support this person is beyond me.
If Trump wants to put forth evidence that the Obama administration illegally tapped him, then he could put it forth. If it has teeth, it could fly. However, the question is why would he do this? In my historical reading and in my personal belief, every president essentially does illegal things and gets away with it. If he goes down this path he is attempting to undermine all presidents, and therefore the American federal government. You can be an anarchist and say that's a good thing, but this is a rabbit hole with real ass consequences. If you want America taken down 10 pegs, fine. But there are consequences for that, too. Do ya'll really want the first black president to end up in court or the jailhouse over this kind of bullshyt if it turns out that technically a part of the investigation didn't go through a FISA court or something? Do you really want that? Bush can kill thousands of our own people and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi people, cost us over 2 trillion dollars for the war, destabilize the middle east, destroy our goodwill around the world, and let ISIS get a foothold in Iraq. All for what? We still don't know why we went there. Nothing happens to him.
If Trump has done nothing wrong in regards to the Russians, then let people investigate. What is he scared of? If those people are wrong, they embarrassed themselves like Republicans embarrassed themselves with Benghazi.

Except we don't know what Obama has ordered versus any part of his administration. The FBI can be ordered by a president to look into something or it can do its own thing as its own entity. There are also other agencies that do things without the president all the time.
Trump is attempting to tie this to Obama because he feels like he is being attacked via Sessions, Flynn, etc. It's a political hit back.
Once again, if something egregious happens to Obama because Trump fired up his base then you better expect the consequences to get real fast.
