Not sure why these people would trust Trump or the Federal Government for that matter. When I was a Federal contractor they told us our jobs we're safe due to sequestration. Only to layoff damn near 70% of us contractors only a few months later.Gotta be near retirees or people in inconsequential roles...... nobody with skin in the game is risking the potential scam......
When they got rid of most us contractors during sequestration. The Feds lied up until the very last minute. That most contracors jobs we're safe. The Government will screw anyone over with impunity no matter who they are.lol lies
I’ve made it a point to ignore the emails & keep a record. Not about to say I responded

BREAKING: Over 100,000 federal employees are set to simultaneously tender resignations tomorrow — the largest mass exit in U.S. federal employment history. Under Trump’s “deferred resignation” scheme, many are citing fear, coercion, and shutdown threats.

@gelsonluz
The hidden truth is that mass resignations often signal systemic erosion. When public servants fear reprisal for doing their jobs, it undermines our government's ability to function properly for the American people.

@CharlesPerreir7
This isn’t normal government “restructuring” anymore this is a slow-motion collapse. Trump is deliberately debilitating and paralyzing the government from the inside out. It’s not just one program or one scandal; it’s a constant, calculated erosion of every safeguard and every layer of stability that holds this country together.
You can see it in the mass resignations. You can see it in the intimidation of civil servants. You can see it in the threats, the chaos, the never-ending crises. He’s draining the system of expertise and replacing it with fear and loyalty tests. This isn’t reform it’s sabotage.
And what makes me furious is how many people don’t see it yet. They’re distracted by the noise while the machinery of government the very thing that protects us is being hollowed out. It’s like watching a slow roll of destruction in real time and being told it’s all fine.

@kd_singh
Who needs a govt shutdown showdown in Congress when the real govt is going to walk out. Very saddening.

@msGrassharp
This mass exit makes me extremely nervous. What could go wrong?

Is it small enough to drown in a bathtub yet

@Itsjustme881241
People have too little of an idea how much power they hold as a collective. Just look at France how their people not rarely lock up the country via a national strike. Look how quickly Disney folded to the pressure.

@sandsun4me
All working out exactly as Trump/his admin have planned. He cleared out the admin/agencies of the rule followers and those loyal to the Constitution. He's got Republican in Congress just where he wants them - loyal and/or afraid. The media is falling in line. Here we are.
12/37
@thaxter
Quit before you get fired. This is basic ass shyt.
Now why is Trump eviscerating the feds? Doesn't want people doing their jobs without a loyalty oath
13/37
@tim_username
The void this creates will enable Trump to load these government positions with loyal but incompetent MAGA morons. In other words, the worst of the worst, and their stink will be around long after he’s gone.
14/37
@FunInMia
Aren’t all those Ice mfers federal employees though…won’t he be screwing them over too
… he might want to rethink a shutdown
15/37
@LeeAJones2399
This is not accurate. The people who took Deferred Resignation have been on admin leave for months, getting paid and knowing their last official day would be the 30th no matter what. The fear and coercion are real but you added shutdown fears yourself.
16/37
@CT9397
So between the mindless firing of federal employees and AI related blood bath in the private sector, MAGA will have caused the biggest jump in unemployment since Republicans brought us the Great Recession.
17/37
@JoStewart22
Tomorrow is the end of the deferral period, not something new, and has nothing to do with shutdown threats. The fear and coercion came months ago courtesy of DOGE.

I'd ride it till the wheels fall off.
23/37
@BooConley
Why would they do that because they wouldn’t get unemployment?
24/37
@turboe4truth
Seriously? I love it. Maybe the rest of the country will get the hint. General strike!
25/37
@Ansa31647129
ITS A big game!! Trump is trying to use these scare tactics on the DEMS.. also, to try to turn this around on the DEMS. It’s up to Trump if he wants 100,000 ppl to lose their jobs. I suggest he negotiate!! Or.. it’s on him!
26/37
@BoldestGesture
Capitulation to fascism. Sad. A shame they aren't standing up to him. The one good trait MAGA has is that they wouldn't simply resign like sooooo many liberals and democrats have in the face of injustice.
27/37
@TMfin78
Workers across the nation should strike and shut all businesses down. Show the oligarchy the power of the people.
28/37
@JRogers40817410
Now they feel fear? No fear as they sat home for 6 months collecting full pay and benefits? They got what the wanted
29/37
@WMatire
Every General is going to be asked to take a "Maga loyalty test" & order by Hegset to use Full Force against American citizens, that's when every single one of them should stand up and walk out of the meeting together.
The General's are America's last hope...

@David_n_Texas
Yea!!! More winning!
America is healing
This sure beats having to pay them a severance.
