allowing discrimination over religious beliefs is slippery af....if they will allow this over someone's sexual orientation best believe that race will be wiggled into it. Some Mormons believe black people are cursed, so then could they legally refuse to hire blacks b/c their religious beliefs say that we're a bad people?

Exactly. It's like a weird attempt to show your "pro-blackness" to the point of lunacy. And I notice how it's justified by poorly thought out, often anecdotal stories about other races not standing up for black people, as if there's some Hispanic Persons Council/Arab Citizens LLC/etc that speaks for entire races and needs to provide written statements on police brutality. Actual Hispanic/Arab/Muslim/etc groups have indeed expressed solidarity with BLM but I guess that doesn't matter. Not to mention dumb shyt like "Arabs sold slaves x years ago, they aren't your friends"
