Trump Administration to seek race data on Universities that get funding. The amount of Blacks that attend these Universities will determine funding.

The WS gov't has been picking and choosing the whole time.

They had a treaty with Moroccan pirates back in Thomas Jefferson days. Muhammed Ali gave an account of black Africans being allowed in a restaurant when he was not, after having won the Olympics or whatever.

They know who we are.
And they these ws have historically done and continue to do everything in their power to oppress and undermine Black people, regardless of origin. I'm asking why you're confident they'll stop doing this now?

Especially considering the modern day ws are specifically attacking race based policies when it comes to Blacks vs how they're attacking immigration status when I comes to every other group (except cacs of course).

Where is this faith in ws coming from.....The ws government, literally established to subjugate us or the ws in our government who defend clothing ads bragging "superior cac genes"?

So your thesis is: Dems lost the election on issues that many Blacks feel they weren't paying attention too, with immigration being one of them. Based on this, any higher level institution with a high level of immigrants, legal or illegal, 1st or 2nd generation, are none of our concerned because “xyz”. Ok great.

1. In the realm of immigration, the Trump Administration already has legislation trying to discourage these types of immigrants, and foreign students, with tighter visa restrictions, social media checks, travel bans etc. That box is checked.

2. Based on the above, this current policy is clearly not about immigration. Its about race. Clearly stated in the article.

And since its about race it going to affect Blacks, AA or non-AA alike. Your ideal of “let it burn” is just ignorant to this fact. Burning my my neighborhood down because the Oyemis moved in isnt a win. Both of us are without houses now.

And they these ws have historically done and continue to do everything in their power to oppress and undermine Black people, regardless of origin. I'm asking why you're confident they'll stop doing this now?

None of this is MY idea or plan. Yes, I've been vocal about the problems, but I personally have presented no solutions bc I'm not a leader.

This is the fruition of the black leadership class' absorption into the Democratic party. If we had widely-accepted black leaders outside the party, we'd have someone to negotiate on our behalf. What we have instead is a CBC full of Democrat-Americans and non-FBA, thus, no representation.

What you see now, the nihilism, is the result of millions of people realizing what's going on but not knowing what to do about it. Stop blaming me. Cornell West wrote a book about this in the fukking 90's. Yall so late its disgusting.

I have no faith in the white supremacists. I have faith in US.

One of my good friends is married to a black professor at Brown, and they do have a sizable Black community. Providence, in general, has a lot of black and brown folks. It'll be interesting to see what the fallout of all of this is since the first Black woman president of Brown forced them to open up an inquiry into the university's ties to slavery. They now have a memorial to slavery acknowledging their role in it on campus. It's in a pretty prominent place where everyone who visits can see.

:dahell: Be serious. Come the hell on. Even if agree I that lineage-based policy would be more difficult to legally challenge, the VAST MAJORITY of black people are descended from SLAVERY. The play is very obvious and if it isn’t one thing it’ll be another. Let’s not delude ourselves into believing otherwise. This is anti-BLACKNESS/ADOS. Call it what you want.
Get the fukk outta here tether.

:francis: how someone with a mindset like this supposedly got into an Ivy League school is beyond me. One of the core qualities their admission process prioritizes is leadership.

I was very different back then, naive, idealistic. I had faith in the possibility of a better talented tenth, of which I intended to be a part. I knew some amazing black adults who were really making us proud. Unfortunately, their children, the next gen, lost the plot. They got lost in the privilege their parents worked so hard to provide. Prep school your whole life makes you different. They became classist instead of anti-racist/ pro- black.

These are the people yall post on here. I went to school with some of the experts yall cite, its hilarious to me, we be cracking up. They were classist then and they're classist now, but many of my people can't see it bc they're also the ones who've been propagandizing us. So the language sounds normal, banal even. It's all very newspeak.

The night Obama won, all of Harlem converged on 125th st, a never ending block party. I was walking past a bodega and ended up talking to an older guy on the corner, late 30's maybe. He had the world weary look of somebody who had served real time upstate. So, I'm all hype and shyt and I asked him if he was happy we had a black president. He told me point blank, 'That nikka ain't gon do shyt. :birdman:' I was horrified. I had bundled money, gone to fundraisers, etc, but I was raised to be respectful to everybody so I said nothing and wished him a good night, thinking he just didn't get it. It was me who didn't get it. He was absolutely right.

That taught me a lot and, I think, quelled whatever inclination to leadership I had. I mean, I was an activist, I organized protests in college, I was bout that life. But that realization killed it. How could I lead ppl when I obviously didn't understand what was going on? As well educated as I was, I didn't know shyt.
