Exactly what were you expecting from Barack's presidency that would have improved black people's conditions?
Obama talked down to blacks, only gave us trinkets and Negro spirituals and pretty much told us to stop complaining while at the same time spreading his buttcheeks for gays, Mexicans, racist Republican whites and his corporate sponsors, actually giving them something tangible. Whereas we got "I'm not the President of Blacks, nikka. Fall back". Now contrast that to Trump and the Repubs who have blantantly shown its party over country, fukk everybody else and they're going to rip everything Obama did to shreds to promote their own agenda. It makes Obama look soft in his bipartisan inclusionary attempts to cross the aisle. Basically he was playing them Away games.
I used to be really angry at dude for that but a lot of it has subsided seeing what we have in office now. Obama was forced to play by different rules being a black man running a white dominated country. He had to appease racists and Republicans because unfortunately they account for a majority of our country. He had to try to bend over backwards to show he wasn't the black man trying to ruin white America and he had to be cautious and meticulous about everything because being a black man meant any mistake he made was magnified and overly criticized. It's ridiculous because it was all for naught. He wasted 8 years trying to morally appeal to people that had no morals, spat in his face and are openly trying to erase his legacy now. But I understand why he did some of those things. So I'm not as mad at dude anymore. He's a good dude. But he was still wrong for speaking down to us PUBLICLY while kissing white / Latino / LGBT ass (no homo). Blacks were his core base. That's like Trump now telling his core base to fukk off.
