That "we fight not flee" stuff is exaggerated. Only a fool would fight and die rather than leave a situation they had no hope in winning. Plenty of FBAs fled when things got bad. Reference the mass exodus of the South. Many people fled to the North when crackas were going ham down here. I don't know if I give people credit who were too poor or inexperienced to leave a bad situation so they just sit there getting beat upside the head until laws change.

Broah Black people left the South to get industrial jobs in the North and out West. White people in the South had always been the way you think, but Black people didn't leave until they found out that there were better jobs n the North and West. Hell Chicago, New York and Los Angeles were just as racist as any place in the South. In fact Dr. King even said that Chicago was the most racist place that he had ever been.
