Money is essence is the measurement based on demand, supply, time, and energy into creating material objects. Trump has veen for the last 3 years weaken the dollar for the "sake of bringing back industry".
The huge down side to that is that cheap, plentiful money makes the dollar cheaper but the energy, time, and manpower don't change. Hence, lower interest rates causing A LOT of money to keep circulating in the economy while we keep printing more and more everyday. This causing basic good like food to cost more and more since the value of the dollar is low.
Hence the supply is high until we start tacking more interest.
Also cheaper rates helps Trump's company in getting cheap loans.
