Cutting the military budget will not make us less safe lmfao. Our military budget is bloated. Half the time they don't even know where the money went, and we give a bunch of contracts for equipment we have no use for.
What they need to do is tear up these contracts with all of these weapons makers and contractors that got you paying 150 million or more per jet and they don't even have pilots to fly them all and spending damn near 40k just to get one off the ground. I saw somewhere that the F-35 program cost over 1 trillion dollars. That makes no sense whatsoever. Also the amount they spend per weapon, down to the bullet is even more than a civilian would spend.
