Well I am now firmly on team Epstein didn’t kill himself after the mistakes they made in this release.
Let’s break it down:
1) This 10 hour video does not show Epstein’s cell.
It is across the entire hall from Epstein’s section.
We can see that in the attached image.

Only a tiny sliver of staircase leading to Epstein’s wing can be seen.
This is what they argue “proves” no one approached his cell that night, despite it being almost entirely out of frame.
“Stairway to L Tier” in the second image is what leads to his block.

In each of the “tier” is 8 cells with up to two inmates.
Epstein’s is L tier, in view of the guard (circles) who is directly diagonal to the camera.

The first red flag is this footage existing at all.
We know from OIG report that most cameras were not recording that day, except for one in the stairwell, and this camera.
But we’ve frequently had conflicting stories about which footage still exists. To suddenly have 10 hours released is odd.

-As I watched the video, I noticed multiple people enter from the right hand side of the lower level.
-As it turns out door “46” leads to floor 10.
-Both the “primary” and “secondary” SHU 9 entrances are on the lower level on the right hand side.

The next oddity is the lockdown time, according to the official report, all inmates were locked in cells around 8pm.

The first odd one takes place at 7:28pm, when a black male CO retrieves a paper that was slipped under door 46.
At first I assumed this was Material Handler Thomas from the reports, but he didn’t start his shift till midnight.
So I assume this may be Evening Watch Officer in Charge (who is unnamed in the report), this may be standard comms protocol, but the fact it wasn’t outlined in the report which documented all their procedures is odd.

The initial report tells us that he was allowed to make an unscheduled phone call, at 7pm which lasted until 7:19pm and he was taken back to his cell.

No matter what you make of that, here is what we know:
-The FBI claimed no one approached his cell block and that’s wrong.
-5 or 6 people *visibly* were near those stairs that night and could have went up without being on camera.
-Both entrances to that cell block were out of view and could access those stairs.
-There are multiple conflicting times in which Epstein was supposedly locked down for the night.
-For some unknown reason, a prisoner (likely Epstein) is out of his cell at 10:40pm with no record.
-The officers doing rounds claimed to fall asleep at their desks “for hours” but with people coming and going, and them walking around, we know it’s not true.
-Epstein had an unreasonable amount of linens in his room, but reports from the day say he had the room checked and cleared.
-Fresh linens were brought into the SHU that night by Hat Man.
-No prisoners claimed to hear commotion.
-Yet Epstein supposedly hung himself on a single shred of linens, so low on the bed frame that he strangled himself only an inch off the ground, and yet didn’t knock over the pill bottle.
-Most of the cameras in that area failed that night, and footage was supposedly lost, but we now have it.
-For some reason officer Tova specifically looks at the one working camera on at least 3 occasions that night.
Even before you get into the inconsistencies with claims that he did or did not have a list, or the fact that experts dispute that hanging with linen would result in the kind of breaks found in the autopsy, it seems pretty damn clear:
-Epstein didn’t kill himself.
His victims deserve truth, honesty and justice.
And they don’t get that if powerful people sell this lie.

-It’s been cut, and time stamps were tampered with.
-At 11:58pm instead of going to 11:59pm the camera timestamp jumps to 12:00am
-An entire 1 minute of footage is missing or timestamps were doctored
-The camera also visibly shifts as if it was moved during that time, or as if its settings were changed and the video size or position in the final output file are different.
Either way, this is not a continuous 10+ hour shot.

No matter what you make of that, here is what we know:
-The FBI claimed no one approached his cell block and that’s wrong.
-5 or 6 people *visibly* were near those stairs that night and could have went up without being on camera.
-Both entrances to that cell block were out of view and could access those stairs.
-There are multiple conflicting times in which Epstein was supposedly locked down for the night.
-For some unknown reason, a prisoner (likely Epstein) is out of his cell at 10:40pm with no record.
-The officers doing rounds claimed to fall asleep at their desks “for hours” but with people coming and going, and them walking around, we know it’s not true.
-Epstein had an unreasonable amount of linens in his room, but reports from the day say he had the room checked and cleared.
-Fresh linens were brought into the SHU that night by Hat Man.
-No prisoners claimed to hear commotion.
-Yet Epstein supposedly hung himself on a single shred of linens, so low on the bed frame that he strangled himself only an inch off the ground, and yet didn’t knock over the pill bottle.
-Most of the cameras in that area failed that night, and footage was supposedly lost, but we now have it.
-For some reason officer Tova specifically looks at the one working camera on at least 3 occasions that night.
Even before you get into the inconsistencies with claims that he did or did not have a list, or the fact that experts dispute that hanging with linen would result in the kind of breaks found in the autopsy, it seems pretty damn clear:
-Epstein didn’t kill himself.
His victims deserve truth, honesty and justice.
And they don’t get that if powerful people sell this lie.

Another damning moment of the footage that I had missed at first:
-It’s been cut, and time stamps were tampered with.
-At 11:58pm instead of going to 11:59pm the camera timestamp jumps to 12:00am
-An entire 1 minute of footage is missing or timestamps were doctored
-The camera also visibly shifts as if it was moved during that time, or as if its settings were changed and the video size or position in the final output file are different.
Either way, this is not a continuous 10+ hour shot.

The guard station that the officers sat as was close to Epstein’s cell so that the guards could carefully monitor him.
In fact it was the only cell where guards had direct line of sight and could have even easily heard movement in.

They found Epstein at 6:30am when food delivery arrived. The food delivery makes it upstairs to the cell without ever appearing on camera (showing how useless this angle is)
