I don't remember that getting a ton of press either really. I remember hearing that the secret service was on his ass after that but it wasn't big news cycle.

Yep, these jobs were what kept the black middle class afloat. Once they made these jobs temp & low paid, the black middle class died. Though I think we should've adjusted properly because this shyt was obviously coming 15 years ago. It isn't Trump's fault at all because this happened a good 10 years ago.

This present economy that we are sitting in has been 9 years in the making. The financial (Wall Street) bailout that Obama gave the banks back in 2009 and fiscal policy of the Federal Reserve of keeping the interest rate low is what set this into motion. When money became cheap to borrow then companies borrowed it, which lead to greater production in company and higher employment. That confidence seeped into the markets. Even Obamacare has been incredibly lucrative for insurers. The companies complained about Obama, because his administration also regulated them more heavily which was designed to ease the the cycle of boom and bust.

Trump hated almost all of Obama's economic policy. He didn't like the low interest rates. He didn't like the regulations placed on industries. He didn't support the bailout of Wall Street until it was successful at which point he claimed that he supported it. He doesn't support Obamacare. What nobody is talking about yet is that Trump has actually laid the ground work for the next recession. He has removed many regulations on business; he cut taxes and he has weakened (but not killed) Obamacare.
Some economist are even pointing out that the share price versus the average real earnings of the current Stock Market is overvalued similarly to the last couple years of the dot.com bubble and worse yet the market crash of 1929.
My own opinion is that with less regulations and Trump in charge we could heading for real trouble.

Trump is a damn Liar and anyone believing him is stupid. Obama Dropped Black Unemployment from Double to Single Digits. I know that's a talking point that Obama "Did Nothing" for Black People but that's false (Yes there's more he could of done but he did do somethings), our Unemployment dropped Dramatically under his presidency because it rose by Historical Numbers right as Bush was Leaving and the Economy Crashed. So this shows how Blacks continue to systemically get the short end of the stick economically in this country because of racism. So Trump is trying to get a pat on the back for a 1% drop then Obama needs all the credit for damn near 10% point drop during his Presidency. Obama's Economy started the downward trend not Trump's. Again as I said, another case of trying to take a brotha's credit from him. We've seen this time and time again in American History.
