I think I know what Trump’s logic is with withholding more foreign aid. It’s kinda like being a murderer. You can kill 100 people, but they can only kill you once. Likewise, Trump can continually break the law and they can only impeach and remove him once. It’s like, fukk it, I’m gonna break every law while I can

Trump might try and spin this whole thing into a critique of foreign aid. Most Americans oppose foreign aid.

Dems could end up looking like they’re for the Bidens corruption and foreign aid to Ukraine, neither of which the general public likes.

I find this interesting because even with majorities opposed to impeaching Clinton, the Republicans didn't give a shyt and went ahead with the impeachment. Their boldness worked because I believe it helped create a Clinton fatigue which eventually helped Bush win the White House.

People were like, the economy is good, but this Clinton shyt is tiring. Let's just turn a new chapter and elect this "compassionate conservative" Christian to restore some morality in the White House. Yeah they cheated in Florida, but the race should never have been that close given the state of the economy in 2000.

Impeachment for a deeply unpopular president like Trump can't be anything but helpful to Dems going into 2020.

The reason I think it can get that high is because of Independents and never Trump Republicans. More of them will sway the number if the public hearings of the army dude and Bill Taylor do the damage its projected to do. It's one thing to hear about this stuff. Its another to witness it in a live testimony. The visual changes it.
