Maybe I’m thinking too deep (as I usually do) but this is deeper than just the surface.
Trump didn’t just withhold Congressional approved military aid from Ukraine in order
1) to get a foreign leader to bring back a disgraced prosecutor or hire a new one
2) to work with his personal attorney with ties to the criminal underbelly of that country and the country that has invaded them
3) AND his Attorney General, who attempted to absolve Trump of working with that invading country to influence our elections AND has had someone who had dirt on some the most elite and powerful people in the world *commit suicide* in his custody
4) to investigate the front-runner of the other political party that could possibly face him in the general election and his son
5) for something they had already been cleared for
6) And this doesn’t even include the complete nature of the whistleblower compliant which includes a “promise” to a foreign leader over a period of time.
99% of military aid (with the exception of Israel) is basically earmarked to return back to our shores in the form of purchasing inferior versions of our military hardware and equipment. This is while he is pushing non-European nations to buy arms and equipment from China and Russia. You really think the most powerful lobby in the WORLD is going to continue to let this guy fukk with their bottom line? Hell no. Withholding that aid for his own benefit is a major no-no. You can press a country because they aren’t doing what’s best for “American interests” or “National Security” which I’ve always taken to mean “Corporations and Rich People’s pocketbooks” and “Keeping the agenda of killing brown people going” but you cant fukk these guys when you’re tanking the economy, and while profits are going up, the price of defense contractor stocks are going down. Eisenhower warned everybody.
I think it’s the real reason this got leaked. That’s why it wouldn’t surprise me if someone who is or was very high up in his administration is the whistleblower. Whatever you do, you can’t fukk up the money. He fukked with the money. Now they are going to make sure he goes. They thought he was going to help them, but they’ve learned just like everyone else..... he’s about himself first. And if you think they don’t have control over Pelosi to pull the trigger on impeachment, you’re wrong too.
