I am not sure how it would work for sure, some say he can pardon himself, some say based on precedent a president is immune from criminal prosecution. It seems almost certain that a loophole would be found. It's also evidence to suggest if the trail started before the election and he won that they would just have to stop the trail and forget about it lol.
