Stupid people expect a president to be like some fictional character that is progressive.
The reality of the world is you will have to commit some pretty terrible acts in order to ensure that your country/nation is safe. To suggest that a president should not commit egregious acts lest s/he be imprisoned is an immature way to go about the world.
