Trump is already caving on immigration.

So Trump folded on illegal immigration but he has successfully repealed civil rights for Black people :francis:

This is some bullshyt :wow:

Also called this.
Trump and Republicans know deporting people is a short term thing. The impact isn’t that crazy when you consider how few people of those demographics it is in the grand scheme of things. If they deport somewhere even close to 100,000 people, that’s a drop in the bucket. There are 15 million Mexicans in California alone, not even counting Latinos.

However, they know destroying these programs that many Black people use, the community’s chance at attaining education, etc. is a much more devastating long term plan.

Dude is going to go down as the WOAT President for Black Americans the last 150 years.

So to avoid being deported, an illegal just has to say he works on a farm? This whole thing is stupid and doesn't make sense. Dudes will get the paperwork and show up barely while working other real jobs. Trump didn't think this through, as usual. :mjlol:

I sling a camera for a living bruh and I get paid more than that. I live in an area where standing in place too long might end in you passing out this time of year. Working the fields is crazy bro. Somebody else said it, people have been protesting working at McDonald’s for 15.. imagine people signing up to work on a field for 15
We talking HS kids......and Id rather work the fields than flip burgers

Not just farmers getting walk-backed either:

Mind you that stint over the last weekend cost American taxpayers over $100 million. All to take 100 people they’ll release back. That cost more than the aid Biden gave to Gaza. Yet it did absolutely nothing.

Spend spend spend and you pay pay pay. Got upcoming bills? Too bad, now you’ll have less money after you pay for them because you got to pay for this now.

These Republicans really like shytting on honest-working people man.

I’m convinced these people hate Americans. Probably think everyone in this country whines too much. They don’t want people to have retirement funds, 401k, healthcare, etc.

They don’t want to see the average person win, they want to see them die working. shyt, I think they simply want to see the average America die, without a job.

This is all a part of Project 2025 brehs.

He’s an idiot, sure—but he’s still on track.

Per GPT:

Here’s the breakdown:

1.

Yes, this aligns with Project 2025 — conditionally.

Project 2025 (Heritage Foundation) outlines an ultra-restrictionist immigration policy:

  • Mass deportations
  • End of birthright citizenship
  • Militarized enforcement
  • Reclassification of immigrants as national security threats

But it also emphasizes a “presidential personnel strategy” — purging bureaucrats and installing loyalists to execute political discretion aggressively but selectively.

So Trump pausing or delaying deportations for economic (especially ag) reasons is not contradictory — it’s tactical. Project 2025 isn’t rigid; it’s a toolbox.

2.

Trump’s statement is not a reversal — it’s a recalibration.

“We can’t take farmers and take all their people and send them back…”

He’s not scrapping deportations. He’s signaling:

  • Exempt certain labor sectors
  • Possibly push for guest worker programs (not amnesty)
  • Shift blame to Biden (“we inherited chaos”)

That aligns with how Trump historically uses “carve-outs” (e.g., DACA waffling, farm labor exceptions in ICE raids).

3.

Strategic contradiction is part of the model.

  • Public rhetoric: “Mass deportations!”
  • Private governance: “Let’s not tank agriculture/real estate/construction.”

This duality is baked into how Trump governs — loud, chaotic signals masking tailored realpolitik.

Conclusion:

No, this is not against his ultimate plan. It’s how he implements it — a selective enforcement regime that uses fear as policy, but preserves economic dependency on undocumented labor. It’s Project 2025 with fine print.
What does this say as a society that we allowed this dude to put out a play book and then run the plays while folks still acted like they didnt know what was happening??

America was obviously NEVER as strong of a Democracy as it thought itself was....

I said in the other thread.

It’s not about having “bad selection of Democrats” that’s hurting the Democratic Party.

Having the majority of the American population be this dumb hurts the Democratic Party.

This of course then hurts Americans because we don’t elect the better people.

There’s no political party problem, there’s a national average intelligence problem.

Think about it. Mexico has a Physicist as a President yet people think Trump is the smartest President in the world.

This is where Democracy comes up short: when the larger group of dumb people hold the popularity and therefore power over the smaller group of smart people wanting and trying to do the right thing. The latter group is basically screwed over.
