You're thinking too small. Almost 90% of Bernie voters voted HRC.
The problem was losing the Senate in 2014. And that has roots in the Dems getting washed in rural areas of the country they last did decently in when Obama got elected in 2008.
Dems need to win the Senate in 2020. Badly.
