Trump is preparing to pardon Derek Chauvin

He’s in prison on federal AND state charges. He won’t be able to get him out of prison due to the state charge (the Minnesota AG came out and said that the state charge against Chauvin will still stand even with a Trump pardon).

Nothing Trump does surprises me but I doubt he goes through with this since Chauvin will remain in state prison. I get that it's symbolic but it will still be pointless..
