Equally as bad is that the white house has recently released a statement saying Dr. Fauci has made inconsistent statements in the past about the virus. They are upset because Fauci has been doing interviews saying that this is really bad now, could have been handled better and could get worse while Trump/Pence and the White House been going around saying everything is going good. They trying to destroy his credibility while possibly bullying him into playing politics by ignoring the science/data and just saying everything is going good. Also privately, Trump was mad telling aids that "he made Fauci a star" because Trump was mad Fauci was more trusted and getting all the attention like a hurt IG hoe.

How the hell do you do opposition research on your own top doctor???? That just exposes your own disfunction when you was riding with him every day in the press meetings.
