North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
landslides are like 400+ EC votes or 10 points

306 is a solid win

If it were a land slide it would’ve been called Tuesday night.

But I’ll just give you one example.

a radical, leftist progressive measure was on the ballot in Florida. Raising the minimum wage. Something you never hear centrists democrats push. And since Biden lost Florida, one would assume that measure didn’t pass. Only it did 60-39. You see the disconnect?

Even Hillary Clinton supported a 15hr min wage.

You just move to America? Dems been pushing for min wage increases since I was a child. :gucci:

did u even read the article :mindblown:

a $15 minimum wage use to be considered a radical idea, until it wasn’t. Until it was finally adopted into mainstream democratic policy.

Clinton did push for a single payer system which was considered radical at the time, but Medicare for all is even more radical, which now makes single payer moderate.

You think raising the min wage to 15/hr in 2026 is radical?

OK man. :mjlol:

This should've been a landslide blowout, but Biden barely squeaked by.

Over 70 million people voted for trump. Democrats lost seats in the house and may not have senate control by the time Biden is sworn in.

And even though trump lost, he still has a platform, will still have a towering influence and his base has grown since 2016. So I'm not going to get caught up in the theatrics of this election.

There are a lot of racist cac's, misguided cac's, misinformation, ignorance and bedwenching and bedbucking going on in this country to makes it hard to be hooeful.

fuuuuuuuuuuuuck you

Biden is an elderly man with a speech impediment who doesn't really have a policy he is known for why should he have won in a landslide?
Trump is no longer in power, that's good. Let's take the W and get to work on the policies we want enacted.

There are not going to be any policies enacted with a republican controlled senate

Its not just about the presidency. That’s ONE position.

The fact that the democrats didn’t flip the senate and lost seats in the house is more telling. Trump losing isn’t surprising due to so much self Sabotage. Had it not been for COVID-19, Trump wins. The mail in votes helped Biden win.

the level of voter suppression was amped up this cycle and the mail in voter drives helped bypass it.
The Senate can be sorted in January

this thread is stupid as fukk, as usual from this op. it definitely feels like he lost and it was a great day. fukk trump, i hope he dies slow, alone, in a jail cell. :blessed:

that said, i'm gonna go a little tangent. cuz it's gotta be depressing (i'm not even sure that's the right word) that over 70 million people still voted for trump.

even after 4 years of all the stupidity, ignorance, racism, incompetence, corruption, etc. after he actually built up a track record as a politician, as the fukking president. and still he got 47-48% of the vote.

i mean, i have really low expectations for a lot of america, but even still...when i'm really thinking about it, that's fukking insane to me. this retarded, crooked, impeached, "billionaire" man-child who (at the very best you can spin it) 'both sided' nazis, threw kids in cages and separated them from their parents, got impeached, routinely gets laughed at on the international stage, all kinds of shyt. fukk how i did even not mention this yet...the goddamn coronavirus response?!?!? "it'l magically go away", "just drink some bleach", "it's under control", "we're turning the corner!" etc. what is it now? 230k+ and rising dead? even after getting it himself, dude's kept going on his covid-19 tour, spreading it all over the place, even at the white house.

and after all that still nearly half the country voted for him? :hhh:

so no it doesn't feel he won. that piece of shyt lost and i'm glad about it. however...it does feel fukked up that there's THAT many people out there still on his side, still in his cult.

but lemme say it again, it doesn't feel like won. it 'feels' like he lost and is flailing. to the point that he's sending rudy out to have a press conference at 'the four seasons', which turned out to be a local landscaping company, right next to sex shop, just to whine and complain and not provide even a single shred of evidence is gloriously embarrassing. all the while angry tweeting from the golf course. this fat orange fukk.
