these type of people dont look past their nose and most of them dont have much past their nose anyway.
when it gets to that point, actual merits of presidency and policies and economic environment and anything else takes a backseat. people are gullible and they fall for symbolism. trump is a dumbass but in his spare time even he probably laughs at these clowns for being gullible af.
its the same reason why Kaepernick is never evaluated by these people as a quarterback or a NFL player, but rather as some evil figure that shyts on military, even if its completely removed from the truth
