Unless the economy does what it did in fall 2008, Trump is getting reelected. In the past 80 years sitting presidents have only been voted out because of a bad economy (Hoover, Carter, Bush Sr).

When Congress returns from break and passes those red flag laws for gun reform and universal background checks it will seal his reelection
It has bipartisan support so it will be passed. Only way it won’t is if Democrats refuse to pass it for not including an assault weapons ban
But the reason why I say it will seal his re-election is because a lot more liberals will vote for Trump for passing gun control reform
It won’t matter that the issue isn’t guns but the issue is white supremacy. They meaning the white liberals will just be glad that it finally passed in their eyes and won’t make an uproar when the red flag Laws mainly target legal black gun owners
The suburban moms and regular liberals will support Trump more after gun control
