I just want to make one point, and I sort of made it less succintly in a previous post.

Lets say this is a lie. The question is, why would some people in this thread even care if it was? Why do you care if this dude is slandered? Only reason you would care is if you had sympathies. If he was an innocent person as it relates to racial relations, I would understand. But this is a dude who has been sued, TWICE, with irrefutable evidence of racism against blacks. At this point, if you're really problack, you wouldn't be giving a shyt what is said about this dude.

If someone came out and said that Richard Spencer kept little children tied up in his basement do you think as a black dude I'm going to be like "well hold on a gosh darn minute. We can;t slander this man with anonymous sources". fukk no.

it's idiotic because it completely disregards the areas where we were making positive progress. sentencing laws, doj forcing corrupt police to fall back, gov starting to acknowledge the war on drugs was a farce, financial regulatory practices that kept black folks from being easy targets, lifetime appointments for judges that weren't ruling on clear racial bias, more black people in positions of power and decision makers than ever before...

but an open racist and his racist cabinet is somehow going to force more black people to get out and do something than an administration that would have done more to empower black folks to do for themselves. and at the very least not trip up people who were advocating for that goal. smfh!

hillary was a very poor choice for the dems to support, but her platform would have done more to move us forward or not get in the way of our progress compared to trump.

i still believe we can't put our hopes, goals, future in the hands of political saviors, but i damn sure know we're worse off with someone like trump and the people he has on his team.
