My last response on this issue I think we have exhausted this subject. I didn't dispute your article or the fact that there was en education/skill requirement. I just responded sarcastically to the conclusion that this requirement would affect immigration when the same people reaching that conclusion spread the narrative that Black immigrants for the most part already come from a well off, educated and skilled background (which i disagree) and therefor making it easier for them to upwardly mobile in America hence should unaffected by this skill/education requirement.

If you are going to have an education/skilled background, then this type of measure shouldn't affect them correct? You bring forth the argument that not all degrees are created equal (which i agree) and which essentially means that those well-educated immigrants still have to work their way to the class status that they attain in their country of origin because their achievements are not deemed transferable and valuable.

And your article talked about a Sub-Saharan African who entered via the southern border which is such an extraordinary journey that it will not be the norm or a significant % of immigration anytime soon and flies in the contradiction of well off Africans coming to the States to take spots away from Americans and become poster boy for model minority.
