I just read more sources and there's nothing to worry about. And it seems there is a lot of sensationalism attached to this source as well.
However, don't ever underestimate China. If the Red Army could almost defeat allied forces, with mostly US military assets and a lot of other countries, during the Korean War - today's China might have the upper hand. But China isn't a country that will go to war for the sake of it, like the US - it's an old civilization and it will continue to buy its time, till it can be assured total victory.
And modern warfare is different from what most of you think it's. Both China and Russia have missile capabilities that can destroy all US aircraft carriers within 24 hrs, wherever they're. Thus negating the military advantage the US has. Cooler heads need to prevail and I believe the big 3 (US, Russia, and China) are evenly matched regardless of all the propaganda out there.
