The Dakota pipeline scandal was just a political hoax made up by the anti-oil activists and celebrities, many people are misinformed on why some people protested, they protested base on ideologically principles and not because the project represented a real danger, they did the same thing with the Keystone project, there's already pipelines in Dakota where the tribes are living and there's miles of pipeline in the country, they're more safer and cleaner than transporting oil on railroads and trucks, but environnemental groups want to kill pipelines projects because they want to stop oil production and push for more tax waste projects on alternative energy

The pipeline does not cross any land owned by the Sioux, they're 70 miles away from the pipeline and its entirely underground, with no danger for the water. People are protesting because they're anti-fuels, they protest for every pipeline in the country because they want to stop the rapid production of the oil in the country, this pipeline protest receive more attention than other protests because celebrities were there
