It’s not a stretch, it’s a grey area, there are other people that are excluded like foreign diplomats, so the question is whether children of illegal aliens should be included

Tourist visas and illegal aliens did not exist at the time and if they did it’s doubtful they would have been included

It is an open and shut case for legal immigrants tho, cuz if you are a resident then you are obviously under the jurisdiction of the us, if trump was suggesting taking that away it would be unconstitutional, but he isnt
