He went from saying that minimum wage can't be raised in the Fox debate, to the opaque "states should decide" position, to now advocating for a hike to a $10 federal minimum.

There's no back and forth, it's been a one way progression towards raising the minimum wage.

:mjlol:

Aiight. Tell yourself whatever you have to....

Are you in this much need of an idol?

Trump just gave an interview saying, "The minimum wage has to go up. At least $10, but it has to go up, federal." And @Mephistopheles is still trying to claim that Trump's position is the opposite. Clown.

I don't give a fukk about Donald Trump, this is about you clowns being dishonest about the state of the election. Trump literally just advocated for a $10 federal minimum wage and y'all are pouring over the fine print to find a way for it not to be true :heh:

Ol' "No...no this can't be...he couldn't have :sadcam:" ass nikkas :russ:

No he did not say he supports a $10 mininum wage by federal law. He said he thinks it's a good minimum wage for the states to decide on.
Why would you link a vid that exposes you as being dead wrong? I don't know what video you watched, but the one you linked showed Trump saying he thinks states should make minimum wage $10. He said nothing about making it $10 by federal law. @Broke Wave what's wrong with this guy?

My nikka, a reporter later brought up a clarification question on the issue of whether he meant federal or state, and he explicitly said federal. Once the speech is uploaded i'll post the exact time stamp.

If you were an honourable man you would give me all your coli cash for this :russ:

You are spending a lot of time defending his flip-flops. :mjlol:

I mean how stupid do you have to be to go this hard defending Trump even after he changed his position on this issue three times. :scust:

If my candidate was against an issue before he was for it, I would stay the fukk away from the issue.

That initial statement from Trump that wages are too high was dumb as fukk, and i've never defended it. But i've said it was more of a mistake than a coherent proposal that fits in with his political ideology, and I've been vindicated. So yeah i'm gonna talk my shyt to my sons who are still dedicated to embarrassing themselves.

I have a degree in American political history, so we can play ball if you'd like. Y'all are holding onto a single statement made during a debate as the Rosetta Stone of Trump's position on this issue, and ignoring 6 months of statements to the contrary. What's good?

as it stands, Bernie, Trump, and Clinton have said on record that they will raise minimum wage

lost in all these emotions is that all candidates have acknowledged that there NEEDS to be a min. wage increase

why didn't Obama raise the min wage? he's had a year and a half to do this and hasn't budged :francis:

Congress wouldn't of allowed it so why bother.

And Trump's statement really isn't advancing the idea of a Federal $10 minimum wage, it's saying the states should do it.

The statement also says people "shouldn't be in that range long" implying people shouldn't be working minimum wage jobs to support themselves. They're jobs for high schoolers, so he's not really sympathizing with the people that are complaining for $15 so they can support a family off of a minimum wage job.

Trump said he would support a 10 dollar minimum wage increase on the federal level. it's on record fam.

now, whether you believe him or not, that's your personal preference

but IF he is elected president, he will be held accountable for this statement if he doesn't follow through on it.

He tried. Congress wouldn't bring it for a vote.
