I don't think people realize how much of a majority the GOP holds at all levels of government with the exception of the White House, a Trump presidency very likely would be a pure disaster and lead to a staunch roll back of even more basic Civil Rights (especially in the South and Midwestern legislatures who would have even more free will) hell let's not get it started how one of the world's major financial think tanks has said that his vapid economic policy could put the slowing economic recovery in further danger
