Not all trans people are on drugs though. Some of them are just like Bruce Jenner. just a dude in womens clothes.

I used to be a paralegal in the Army. I go back to the old days and processed some people out of the army based on homosexuality. I am curious as to how the AR 635-200 will be adjusted to deal with this.

well currently 635-200 requires more than just gender identity as a basis for separation. Even before initiating an involuntary separation for a Soldier diagnosed with gender dysphoria, the unit commander must obtain written approval from the Army’s Transgender Service Central Coordination Cell.

hmm, if you go back far enough all a person had to do was claim homosexuality to get kicked out. then the Army switched to the don't ask/dont tell policy which meant you had to be seen performing homosexual acts in order to get kicked out.

The military consist of mostly men,and most men are somewhat "homophobic". It's an added distraction if men have to watch what they say. Deal with somebody instigating "homie looking at you kinda hard". Being hypersensitive when you hear that schril sassy voice enter a room,or trying not to laugh.

It's the same reason that if I ran the military I would segregate it. Women in the military are also a distraction. So women can serve it they insist,but in an all women's unit. Black and brown people can serve if they insist,but I would segregate them from whites due to white racism.


With transgenders there's not enough to make a special unit and special accommodations
