It's hard to find good developers, nobody cares what race they are. if you come in and blow them away in the interview 9 times outta 10 you getting the gig. i've been at companies where we interviewed people for MONTHS before finally hiring somebody cause so many ppl who came thru were complete ass. if a black dude came thru and killed it he would have got an offer that day.
i'm black and i got offers in the past after initially brushing the interview (this happened twice actually). I basically got hired on the spot for my current job. it's real out there
