I read this back in 2021. Deserved WAY more attention than it got.

A large portion of it focuses on how bad Fred Trump (Trump's father) was and how Donald was his favorite son because he was cruel and ruthless like him.

I forget the exact details, but in the book Mary described a story which entailed Fred Trump taking a relative of theirs to visit the grave of another relative and instead of mourning, Fred was bragging and chuckling about how good of a deal he got on the grave site

Trump's dad was acting like he was a loser because he wanted to be a pilot. And when Trump saw his brother wasn't seen as the quote-on-quote "heir" anymore, he did everything to get in his dad's good graces. His dad most definitely fukked him up in the head.

Yep, and a lot of this has to do with how paranoid and delusional they are when it comes to Black representation. They really do believe that Blacks and Mexicans are taking over, so they over estimate how much everything benefits us not realizing that Black people really are still only 13% of the population, and that even when a program benefits us, statistically, it's more likely to also benefit non-Blacks, and specifically Whites. There's a great book by Heather McGee, called "The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone..." about how White people's racism has historically and consistently led to them shooting not only others but themselves in the foot. The best example of this was White people closing down all pools when they found out they had to share a pool with Blacks, so in the end for like four years, all the pools were closed, so nobody got to go swimming lol. That example really sums up White voters now.
