I know some Mexican acquaintances that are Dreamers who out of nowhere had children. It was quite obvious why but I’ve always had issues with people using children as leverage. It’s like not only are you being slick, but you made the decision to bring a child into the situation to cover for your bullshyt which makes you selfish. I’m not exactly sure where I stand yet on this issue but it has never been favorable if I were to be honest.

Although I agree with the premise; undocumented immigrants or temporary visa holders' children should not automatically be US citizens, the bureaucracy and cost would be enormous. Just think of all the tracking and paperwork needed to determine legitimacy + the international connections needed to secure origin country (or what country would the baby be a citizen of?).
