When you have the option between being shot and being stabbed, why even participate? Especially if you’ve never received anything of significance in return for your complete loyalty that spans decades.
I’ll be the first in line to vote if someone actually proposed tangibles exclusively for Black Americans (ADOS). I’m not just saying to only help Blacks, but to include things of significance SPECIFICALLY for us along with your other proposals for everyone else (LGBT, Immigrants, Latinos, women). If we were disciplined and unified, we’d have the capability to demand things for our support.
If we continue to blindly support them, WHY would they even offer anything or put something significant on the table for us? Until a party/person starts doing so, myself and many other Black Americans will not support anyone or participate in the system. NO ONE can shame or terrify me into doing so. My mind is made up, as are many others.
No tangibles, no vote.
