This is why the Republicans should have picked an oldschool conservative if they were smart, as much as that isn't me I at least have some respect for someone that can present a cohesive argument, but when someone can't convince the people that should ideally be for him that says something lol
you completely botched that one fam. LBJ was a virulent racist so who did the Republicans chose to run against him? Barry Goldwater. Probably the biggest racist that they could muster at that time. There is alot of nuance there with the entire Dixiecrat party and the Civil Rights act. I dont have enough time to give you a history lesson, but there hasn't been a single presidential candidate in the history of America that has done anything substantial for black folks. Not one. There hasn't been a decent choice for blacks to chose from since..........1776.

Really what I advocate would be a system where both the left and right has the moderate and more extreme wing as different parties so you would have 4 candidates to chose from instead of a two party system, something like this exists in many countries, but I wish America would adopt it

Nothing lame about using your common sense. Who has the best chance at winning? Who is the better of those two? It's really simple. Lame? I think not. Who should we have chosen? Bernie? Noone who really wants a go at the White House says anything that foolish. Especially not on the campaign trail.
