That's true, I don't know anything for certain, but a lot of the rumored stuff people talk about, they have in Huntsville. The arsenal specifically is a big deal.

Lower Alabama has a stigma.

But money is there to be made. I work for L3 and we are trying to increase its presence. Everybody else has that place on lock though.

150K+ jobs are everywhere down there in all fields.

I'm from Birmingham but I do have a fed job but my job is through the corps of engineers so we have a lot of overlap with the arsenal and their energy programs. But if i didn't have a home already I'd live in Huntsville or Madison without a second thought. It's not busy and definitely growing It's outpacing Birmingham by a lot and the homes are less expensive on average. I've been considering it but can't justify it with the housing market the way it is right now but if I were to consider anywhere in Alabama it would definitely be Huntsville even if I didn’t have a fed job.
