A lot of middle class independent voters are not with the socialist movement Warren is championing. Those taxes are gonna scare them. While they won't vote for Trump they may not vote at all and that's as good as a vote for Trump.

If anyone in here thinks that Warren or Bernie are worse candidates than Hillary, and more people gonna sit out in 2020 than 2016, you gonna be smoking crack. They have too many great ideas that can't be hidden anymore.
Bernie could have beat Trump in 2016:yeshrug:

I wouldn’t put too much stock in this.

Stock market gains and unemployment rate numbers are so disconnected from the reality of working peoples’ lives nowadays that they are outdated metrics to judge elections imo
Yeah this model would work if we didn't have psychopath in the WH. If it was all about the economy he'd have 50-60% approval ratings right now.

They're definitely better than Hillary, but there's no guarantee that Warren or Bernie will win. It could still go to Biden.

But whoever wins I'm not confident that Dem voters will turn out like they need to in order to beat Trump. I think that "both sides are the same" shyt is heavily ingrained in people on the left so a good number of will vote 3rd-party/stay home if they don't agree with whoever wins the primary. Biden supporters feeling Warren/Bernie are too far left, Bernie supporters feeling he got cheated by the DNC, Warren supporters feeling like there's no difference between Biden and Trump, etc. There's also going to be a lot of voter suppression and propaganda.

An incumbent president with a good economy is always the favorite IMO, even if they're as terrible as Trump.

The economy is tanking thanks to the trade wars. Its in worst shape than Obama left it.

Moody's right. Democrats are going to get slaughtered in 2020 against Trump and it's mainly because outside of the Fake News propaganda, too many people have had enough with the Democrats and their :duck: to get at the President. And I say this from a :unimpressed: and :yeshrug: position. Although I more than likely will laugh at the butthurtness again like in 2016. :mjlol:

2016 Map

270towin-election-night-map

He'd have to take New Hampshire, Maine, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, and Virginia on top of states he already won in 2016 to get to that number.

Yeah that's not happening.

I'm more worried that the map will look basically the same as 2016.

After all his approval rating is about the same (or maybe slightly higher :snoop: ) than it was at the time.

I've been saying it since 2017 that he's going to get a 2nd term. It almost doesn't matter who the Dem's bring out.

America hasn't had a one term President in 30 years. Let that sink in. The last one term President was Bush Sr.

IMO, the only chance for Trump to leave office is a Warren/Bernie ticket and they only win if they get high Dem turnout.

Bernie called her a capitalist.
She called herself a capitalist.
Since when has taxing wealthy people who aren't paying their debt to society socialism?
