He can beat this clown easy. DeSantis too. The right wing has gone nuts and lost any appeal it's gad with voters who are not on the fringe of right wing beliefs

Republican voters are a lot more loyal than you think, they'll choose a 'moderate' Republican over an election denier, but a Democrat is a different story. I think a Biden/DeSantis election would be worryingly close, I can see a scenario where the center-right deludes themselves into voting for DeSantis.

There is no scenario that Trump wins. He had even less support than he did before work conservatives. His ego won't let him drop out so he's going to fukk whoever gets the nomination and split the votes. Easy Dem win, save money and barely campaign. I think even kamala wins and she is terrible she is under constant attack by right wing smear campaigns and a biased, racist, misogynist media. Hillary probably punching air right now.

Especially because DeSantis would be presented as the moderate sane Republican by the lazy horse race journalists :francis:

I'm glad it's over but I do miss the fukkery

Newsom has a chance in a cycle or two, I'd like to see Sanders run, he's only a year older than Biden and is the most liked democrat not named Barack Obama.

There's nothing to miss about 1000's dying daily due to his management of a viral contagion.. :mjtf:

Facts. I know Trump winning to begin with was a huge shell shock to so many people. That we really can't trust this Democracy, by and for the people, to regulate itself and make the best decisions when there's media hype influencing things, but there really is no chance whatsoever this dude little political career ain't completely washed up and going nowhere.

At this point he just riding it out for the money and the legal protection and holding the Republican party hostage. He's there problem now. If you been checking these revelations from the Dominion than you know the Republican is being held hostage by competing media companies--Fox News and Newmax, as well as OANN--that are all dedicated to brainwashing their viewers for ratings (viewers they clearly have some level contempt and loathing towards to be so unapologetically dishonest towards them)

The entire Republican party is being consumed by its own extremism and greed. When the biggest stalwarts of the party have no problem turning against and misinforming their fellow conservatives just to make money you know their ideology is a complete joke and a ruse for self-interest. Furthermore it shows how much of fake phony "patriots" the average conservative is. These folks can care less about either the "conservative movement" or the country they claim to love so much when it's time to make a buck. Willing to spiral both into complete and total chaos just to have viewers, ratings, and money.

Being right wing is nothing but a grift and an outlet for archaic bigotry. Has nothing to do with helping this country or other people at all.

I truly believe Sanders and all his like-minded colleagues in Congress are more powerful as an outsider to the party advocating for the most effective social policies than as Presidential candidates.

Trump is done, but the right wing propaganda media apparatus is stullstrong. Too much hype over "woke mobs" and bullshyt, and too much opportunity to push the narrative of young, cheeky, tax cutting, "guy you can have a beer with" conservative daddy Ron DeSantis vs. Old, college professor looking, pretentious, tax raising, America hating "socialist" Sanders.

The American public is just too stupid and ignorant to have someone like Sanders in their face and understand his policies when his opponent gets to rely on nothing but attack rhetoric, appeals to bigotry, and fearmongering over "spending" and "children."

It's gotta be a moderate. Whether we like it or not. Hardcore Liberalism is harder to sell to the average self interested American than the simple minded ideas of right wing extremism.

A moderate Republican could be a tremendous challenge to Biden if there isn't a clear and visible post-Trump/covid recovery of the economy by 2024, which I think is on track.

DeSantis is not as strong outside of right wing politics as Republican voters would like to think. He's like Trump in a lot of ways, particularly he's an ego maniac who relies entirely on bigotry to win and refuses to step outside his echo chamber of redneck Floridians, Trump supporters, police families, Fox News, and other conservative coalitions. Like Trump he demands to be praised as an adored leader without engaging with anyone besides his "base" who he knows will do it for cameras.

I don't see the guy performing well on a stage with an incumbent President who has real accomplishments and results to tout when all he got to show for is a bunch of bigoted hate towards gay and lesbian people, "woke mob" fear mongering, hating on Disney, hating on the media, hating on teachers. All this while getting roasted by Trump day after day and probably going with some wishy washy "I supported Trump and won't attack him" nonsense, showing any potential moderate voter that this man is still a stooge for the guy and will govern just like him.

DeSantis is a troll and a clown who's every bit as lost without zaddy Trump and his failed white supremacist movement around anymore as his racist peckerwood voting base who refuse to pull back their extremism, see "America" doesnt revolve around them and their hatred, and dont recognize that "owning the libs" is no longer a great campaign promise after what we saw with Trump. It doesn't seem like the Russian troll farms are batting for him like that. He will be a polarizing figure among Republicans who still support Trump. Trump will not concede his campaign, inevitably obstruct DeSantis's campaign, rally hardcore conservatives against him, and spiral the party into infighting chaos.

I just don't see it for the guy or his party next year with the direction they're going in. With that said Democrats can't sleep for a second, they have to deliver for the next year and they have to be prepared for a tight race and an ignorant public.

Here we go with the dog whistles. We know the anti black stuff will be tolerated. But I can’t wait until the Indian “jokes” about Nimrata drop.
