I tend to lean far away from candidates that display entho-nationalist leanings sprinkled in with fascist proclivities.

This is every candidate and essentially saying nothing.
Here is an example from my own experience. I work for a global consulting company. One of the practices we have does work with the U.S Federal government. In the Federal Practice, we cannot offshore any work. All work must be performed inside the U.S. As an alternative to offshoring, we are forced to onshore. This means we build campuses in low cost places in the U.S like rural Virginia, Alabama and Louisiana where the cost of living is much lower than major cities so salaries don't have to be as high. They perform work that otherwise would be off-shored to India.
Contrast that with our private sector practice. Instead of on-shoring to low cost places in the U.S that need the jobs and investments, we off-shore to India where the cost of living is even lower and the workers are even cheaper. Right now we have a huge division in India that employs a couple of thousand Indians to do work that can be done here....and it's not low value work like call centers etc. We have programmers, database administrators, I.T operations people etc.
If there was a tax that penalized off-shoring and would result in the cost of offshoring being greater than the cost of on-shoring, our private practice would now have the incentive to on-shore and only hire in America.
