This shows the White House's priorities. Most of this won't become law. The Democrats have already said the defense spending increase is dead on arrival.
This budget isn't passing the U.S. Senate as you need 60 votes to get it through cloture.
It may not even pass the U.S. House where the GOP has a slim majority already.
Both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate passed the FY26 budget back in January and they rejected most of the cuts that Russell Vought at OMB and Donald Trump pursued.
I would think before September 30, there will be a continuing resolution that goes into FY27 as I doubt there'll be a government shutdown right before the Midterms.
