I totally get Elon's argument, but only if all this investment and policy is aimed at public and nationalized energy infrastructure. No private contractors. No tech oligarchs. Just public utilities and federal agencies. Normal GS employees and bureaucrats.

I'm very hesitant to give elon more money or give him more control of key industries. From solar city under Obama, to TSLA under trump, to SpaceX under Biden, this man has been enriching himself from tax dollars under the guise of greater good , while using those dollars to undermine democracy and insult Americans. It's no coincidence that TSLA would be a huge beneficiary of more energy credits and increased battery storage capacity due to their patents. I genuinely believe Elon is more of a threat to the country than the environment is , as we saw in the last election.




Govt may be inefficient at this stuff, but at least govt doesnt turn into a bond villain when engaged in public works.
